To ensure the proper use of your candle and to get the maximum use out of it, please take note of the following tips.
- Please review the warning label in detail before burning candle
- Note that candles have a burn memory, so be sure to burn your candle all the way to the edge of your jar on your first lighting. This will help prevent tunneling and maximize the life of your candle for every burn afterwards
- Trim your wick 1/4" before each use to allow for a clean burn
- Do not burn for more than 3-4hrs at a time, and discontinue use when ½” unmelt wax remains in the bottom of your jar to avoid carbon build up
- When burning more than one candle, place them at least 3 inches from each other
- Place candle on a safe protected heat resistant and dry surface, away from flammable objects or materials and never leave an unattended candle burning or within reach of pets, or small children. Also place away from drafts, vents, or air currents
- When candle is burning, please handle carefully as the sides and bottom may become hot
- Avoid placing your candle in direct sunlight and other heat sources as candles can lose their scent and may discolor when exposed to direct sunlight
- Use a snuffer to extinguish a candle
- Extinguish a candle if it is smoking excessively, flickering constantly, or flames becomes extremely high. Consider trimming the wick or check for drafts before relighting.
- Do not allow debris to settle in your wax pool
